Jim Diamond is probably best known for his 1984 UK hit I Should Have Known Better. This CD is nothing like the single. It also may be a little hard to find now that the distributor Total Records is out of business. The album itself is dedicated to the people of Scotland. Quite fitting for Ian to be on this album. The album is pretty mellow. A lot of acoustic guitar. Many tracks don't have electric guitar. Most of the tracks Ian plays on do not heavily feature his guitar work. While this album does have a Scottish flavour, you really can't compare it to Davie Paton's Passions Cry which has a more traditional feel to it. |
