This was a solo single for David Van Day after the split up of his group Dollar. In 1996, David joined Bucks Fizz (with Bobby G) after Mike Nolan left the band. David then left Bobby Gee's Bucks Fizz and teamed up with Mike Nolan to start the band "Bucks Fizz starring Mike Nolan". In 2001, Mike left his version of Bucks Fizz, but David continued to tour under the name Bucks Fizz. With 2 verions of Bucks Fizz out there, there were all sorts of legal actions going on.

According to a BBC TV documentary, he now runs a hamburger van in Brighton. Some heartless people now refer to him as Burger Van Day...
