This album was instigated by the death of Ian Bairnson's cousin, Erik Mounsey, in a "friendly fire" incident which killed 26 people in 2 helicopters. Eric was a pilot.
It is probably the closest you will get to an Ian Bairnson solo album, with Ian having writing credits on 10 of the 11 tracks. The album explores man's desire to fly and how air and space travel have affected our lives and our achievements. The album was originally released with a great CD-rom as a bonus.
