This single enjoyed some mild success. Marilyn's future record career for the most part consisted of performing backing vocals. The Two's a Crowd album and Chris Rainbow's White Trails featured her harmonies. She was however very successful in the advertising and session business, and went on to work for many years with Petula Clark.

Perhaps you spotted that Billy & Ian's instrumental track "55 Degrees North 3 West" on Second Flight, was turned into "You've Got To Get Me Higher". A bit of early re-cycling from Billy there!
